 I THOUGHT BEING SKINNY WAS JUST BAD GENETICS, 10 YEARS LATER I LEARNED HOW WRONG I WAS., at.

I’d like to share a personal story, it’s one that many guys like us face. 

This story started 10 years ago when I looked in the mirror and I didn’t recognize the man looking back at me. 

My rounded shoulders, thin arms poking out, love handles and scrawny chest were painful for me to look at.

I was embarrassed to take my shirt off in public and ashamed at what I had become. The truth was, I was sick and tired of being the skinny weak guy, but my confidence was low and my motivation was lower.

I knew I wanted to get in shape. In fact, I tried several times over the years, but nothing seemed to work.

It was always the same. Endless will power to begin with, then a few weeks later I would lose momentum and end up back where I started.

Every time I failed,I told myself that I was too weak, too skinny, too busy and that I had bad genetics - anything to excuse my lack of results.

Hindsight being what it is, I now know that they were all excuses. Bad excuses at best.

In reality, I simply didn’t know what I was doing.

Some guys just look at a pair of dumbbells and start putting on muscle, unfortunately skinny guys don’t have it so easy.

 IT’S NOT THAT I HAD BAD GENETICS, I JUST HAD THE WRONG INFORMATION.

 TRADITIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR GUYS WITH AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BODY TYPE.

Skinny guys have a completely different set of problems to most people.

Eating more, gaining weight and building muscle do not come naturally to us. However, when we learn to take the right action, we can build it faster than most! 

But, to do this we have to approach it in a different way because our body type and metabolism are different.

The bottom line is that genes do have a small influence, but they are not your destiny when it comes to gaining weight and building muscle.

I dedicated 2 years of full time research, training, courses and experimentation to develop the training methods that would become Plant-Based Life Mastery.


Fast forward to today and I can honestly say that I never felt or looked better in my life.

In the first 12 months, I gained over 25lb of lean muscle. Something I never thought a skinny plant-based, vegan guy like me could ever achieve.

As a result, I feel confident in my own skin and look good in my clothes, my relationships have improved and my motivation is sky-high. I feel safe knowing that I have the knowledge and tools to be healthy and strong into my 30’s, 40’s and beyond.

It’s fair to say that getting in shape has positively impacted every part of my life.

The best bit is, I’ve been able to do it living 100% plant-based, vegan lifestyle. Helping to show the world what is possible when living this lifestyle.
